Michael Estrada – Interview

Upcoming visits / Previous visits – Nevada, Sac State, San Jose State, UC-Davis

Recommended Level of Play: D2 Scholarship Athlete – NAIA schools will love Michael as will D3 for a High Roster Spot – Relentless to the QB – Disruptive – violent hands and creates separation. Worker, physical, runs down on KO! YOU want Michael on your roster!

Q1What areas have You improved over the off-season – I put a big emphasis into developing my hands and footwork, as well as my speed. And I’ve spent more time around the game and watching film in an effort to develop my football IQ.

Q2 – How are Summer workouts going? Summer workouts are great, the team is hungry to redeem itself after a lackluster season. Our bigs have been putting in work in the weight room and on the field, it’s really paying off.

Q3 – How does your team look for 2018? Our weak point from 2017 is our strong point this year. And that’s the defensive and offensive lines. We bring back four starters on oline and three on dline and those guys have put in work to change the outcome from last season.

Q4 – Which schools are showing recruiting interest in You? Clarke University gave me an offer, but they are waiting on my SAT score to make it official. And Jamestown updates me every few weeks on the school and is going to watch me this year.

Q5 – Personal goals for 2018 season? I want to win the city championship and make the playoffs, as for personal goals I’m going for double digit sacks and TFL’s. I just want to be known around the league as someone that can take away a side in the run game. Everyone loves a good pass rusher, but I think it’s more impressive when you can stop someone from running the football.
