1 – 40-yard dash: A measure of off-the-mark quickness and transition to top speed.

3 – 5-10-5 shuttle (also known as the 20-yard shuttle run): a drill demanding split second changes of posture, direction, and speed.

4 – Kneeling powerball toss: a test designed to measure the ability to develop and deliver coordinated power.

A player’s results in those four exercises, when normalized by weight, gives a number that measures the player’s power, agility, speed, explosiveness, and overall athleticism.

*Athletes Competitive edge: Demonstrates the ability to compete and win in space. Michael is undersized, however, is very productive in-between the tackles as a TB. His effort and fight are demonstrated as he is always fighting for the extra yard.

3 – Adequate Level –  Video demonstration of the athlete performing the position specific skill criteria and technique at a fundamental and functional level needing work but adequate. Physical Profile at or near the preferred size metric determining level of play scale. Speed, knee bend, quickness and hip flexibility at or near preferred numbers or range metric determining level of play scale.

4 – Developmental LevelVideo demonstration of the athlete performing the position specific skill criteria and technique at a developmental level needing work. Physical Profile below the preferred size metric determining level of play scale. Speed, knee bend, quickness and hip flexibility below preferred numbers or range metric determining level of play scale.
